Comment:
Southern Tiwa (1471-tix) = Endangered (60 percent certain, based on the evidence available) (At Sandia Pueblo, only middle-aged and elderly people are fully fluent, although some younger people use the language and at least a few children still acquire it. In all there are about 100 speakers in a total population of about 500. At Isleta Pueblo, there are approximately 1,500 speakers in a membership of about 4,000.)
