Krikati-Timbira [xri] is listed in E16/E17/E18/E19/E20/E21/E22/E23/E24/E25/E26/E27 as a separate Eastern Timbira language but already Curt Nimuendajú 1946: 17 declared that “The Krĩkatí dialect completely coincides with that of the Pukóbye”, where Pukóbye belongs to the Pará Gavião [gvp] entry.
