Lionel 2005 or to an alleged full or partial Nilo-Saharan has been presented Blench, Roger 2000 , Bender, Lionel M. 2000 , Pascal Boyeldieu 2011 Tom Güldemann 2018: 294-309 . More recent more narrow parallels are suggestive but not enough to be conclusive Rilly, Claude 2005 . The parallels adduced by Gerrit J. Dimmendaal 2018 have been selected from various modern languages and have an alternative explanation as chance resemblances until shown to be reconstructable in the various microgroups.
