E16/E17/E18/E19/E20/E21/E22/E23/E24/E25/E26/E27/E28 har an entry for a separate language Saam [raq] in the Irkhuwa-valley of Nepal. However, recent fieldwork has shown this to be an extinct dialect of (Western) Mewahang [raf], not a separate language ( Gerber, Pascal 2023: 16 , 25-28). See also: Western Mewahang [raf].
