Punan Merap [puc] is listed in E16/E17/E18/E19/E20/E21/E22/E23/E24/E25/E26/E27/E28 as a separate language, but Punan Merap are made up of a fraction (Punan Merap) that speaks Punan Tubu [puj] ( Bernard Sellato 2007 ) and a fraction (Merap) that speaks a phonologically aberrant Ngorek [mxr] dialect ( Smith, Alexander D. 2017 ).
