Nupbikha [npb] is listed in E16/E17/E18/E19/E20/E21/E22/E23/E24/E25/E26/E27 as a separate language of Bhutan in Trongsa district. But the term Nupbikha denotes no more than 'language of the west' and the variety spoken there is linguistically a variety of Bumthang [kjz] ( George van Driem 2001: 908 ).
