AES status:
Campbell, Lyle and Lee, Nala Huiying and Okura, Eve and Simpson, Sean and Ueki, Kaori 2022
Marori (2719-mok) = Endangered (100 percent certain, based on the evidence available) (According to the villagers in Wasur, there is no other place where people speak the Morori language. There are less than ten families living in Wasur, and young people and children cannot speak Morori. It is almost dying out. They reported that they could understand some Marind and Kanum.)
