Evidence for inclusion in Trans New Guinea is weak C. L. Voorhoeve 1975: 437-446 , especially lexically. The same can be said for a relation with South Bird's Head, Konda-Yahadian and any West Papuan affiliation Berry, Keith and Berry, Christine 1987 .
