Comments on subclassification

The only publication ( Marion Grace Woolley 2009 ) does not address the origin and relations of Rwandan Sign Language. The language/variety does not feature in overviews of Sign Languages in Africa ( Kamei, Nobutaka 2004 , David M. Eberhard and Gary F. Simons and Charles D. Fennig 2023 ). A historical and/or lexical investigation remains to be done. (The task is mentioned in Morgan, Hope E. 2022: 421 as future work).
