Their mother tongue is Telugu and they spaak Telugu at home of course with the characteristic hill accent, Dondo, Dumbu speak Oriya, Didayi = Gata' [gaq], Gadaba, Ghasi speak Oriya, Goudu speak Oriya, Jatha, Jodia = Bodo Parja [bdv], Khond, Kobadi, Kondadora have lost their original language and adopted Oriya and Telugu as their dialects, Koya, Kumara = Kummara speak Oriya, Kondereddi, Kotiya speak Oriya, Malakar speak Oriya, Mali, Mannedora = Manna-Dora [mju], Mukadora = Mukha Dora, Ozulu, Pengu, Porja, Pydi speak Oriya, Reddidora, Rona, Samantha, Valmiki = Kupia [key]},
