E16/E17/E18/E19/E20/E21/E22/E23/E24/E25/E26/E27 has an entry Lalia [lal] in addition to Bongando [nxd]. But studies in the field emphasize that Lalia is simply a variety in the Bongando area with no special status vis-a-vis other Bongando varieties ( Hulstaert, Gustaaf 1951: 22 , Lingomo, Bongoli 1995: 340 , Hulstaert, Gustaaf 1987: 205-207 ), wherefore we merge the two should arguably be merged.
