Bookkeeping: Sara Dunjo

This entry has been retired and is featured here only for bookkeeping purposes. Either the entry has been replaced with one or more more accurate entries or it has been retired because it was based on a misunderstanding to begin with.

Sara Dunjo [koj] is listed in E16/E17 as a separate language, but our only information on Dunjo ( Tucker, Archibald N. and Bryan, Margaret A. 1956: 57 , Caprile, Jean-Pierre 1981: 239 ) in the past century claims that it is a dialect (of the city Njounjou) of the language in the Sara Kaba Náà [kwv] entry (where indeed Dunje is listed as a dialect). This is confirmed in the more recent detailed sociolinguistic survey of Marti Marianne 2012 . See also: Sara Kaba Náà [kwv].
