Nkuu, or Boma Nkuu, is a language in the linguistically poorly studied region engulfed by the Kwa, Congo and Kwango rivers of DRC ( Pacchiarotti, Sara and Chousou-Polydouri, Natalia and Bostoen, Koen 2019: 166 ). From what little is known, data from this area seems to form a language distict from its neighbours (see Pacchiarotti, Sara and Chousou-Polydouri, Natalia and Bostoen, Koen 2019: 166 for the full reasoning and the complications involved).
