Comments on subclassification

Guyana Sign Language and American Sign Language are discussed as two different entities in Elizabeth Parks and Holly Williams (2011): 29-30 but at the same time it is implied that Guyana Sign Language is a recent American Sign Language offshoot. A check of the dictionary ( Don Cabbage and John Peterson 1990 ) is urgently needed. In the meantime, Guyana Sign Language is at least implied to be related to American Sign Language.
