Wahau Kayan [whu] is listed in E16/E17/E18/E19/E20/E21/E22/E23/E24/E25/E26/E27 as a separate language, but the geographical location attributed to it makes it either either Modang Wehèa subsumed in the Modang [mxd] entry ( Guerreiro, Antonio J. 2002: 96 ) or Kayan River Kayan subsumed in the Kayan River Kayan [xkn] entry ( Antonio Guerreiro 1996: 222 ).
