The Numao, also known as Nu-hmou, is often subsumed under the same language as Bunu, as also reflected in E16/E17/E18/E19/E20/E21/E22/E23/E24/E25/E26/E27/E28 in the entry Bu-Nao Bunu [bwx]. But Numao is not intelligible to Bunu (or Pou-nou, also subsumed in the same entry) and thus merits a separate language entry ( Barbara Niederer 2002: 216 , Meng, Chaoji 2001: 149-192 ).
