The Pou-nou language, also known as Bāonǎo and formerly as Nau-Klau (Naogelao), is often subsumed under the same language as Bunu, as also reflected in E16/E17/E18/E19/E20/E21/E22/E23/E24/E25/E26/E27/E28 in the entry Bu-Nao Bunu [bwx]. But Pou-nou is not intelligible to Bunu (or Numao, also subsumed in the same entry) and thus merits a separate language entry ( Barbara Niederer 2002: 216 , Meng, Chaoji 2001: 149-192 ). I wish to thank Andrew Hsiu for bringing this case to my attention. See also: Bunu [bwx].
