Said to be a village sign language according to Asonye, Emma Ihechi (2016): 787 and “local” in Victoria Nyst (2010): 406 but without pointing to underlying evidence. Some shared vocabulary with Adamorobe Sign Language probably comes from regional gestures ( Hadjah, Timothy Mac 2024 ).
