Lute, the language of people around Jebel Lute in the Nuba mountains of South Kordofan state, Sudan is missing from E16/E17/E18/E19/E20/E21/E22/E23/E24/E25/E26/E27/E28. Thanks to the survey of ( Art Rosewood and Lisa Rosewood 2024 ) it is clear that the language is not closely related to Koalib-Rere [kib] (under which the area is typically counted) or closely related to any other Heibanic language.
