The varieties of Arame-Gubaare, mainly located in Guinea-Bissau, are included in Bayot [bda] in E16/E17/E18/E19/E20/E21/E22/E23/E24/E25/E26/E27/E28. However, already the lexicostatistical study by Barry, Abdoulaye 1987: 72 showed that these are lexically too divergent to be intelligible (cf. Mamadou Dabo 2013 ) and thus merit separate entries.
