Sikiana [sik] is listed in E16/E17/E18/E19/E20/E21/E22/E23/E24/E25/E26/E27 as a separate Cariban language and there is a matching ethnic group with this name ( Eithne B. Carlin 2002 ) but their language is “a very close dialect” of Kaxuiâna [kbb] ( Sérgio Meira 1999: 5 , Protasio Frikel 1957: 558 ). See also: Kaxuiâna [kbb].
